Bred by legendary plant breeder Tim Peters, formerly of Peters Seed and Research, 'Sweet Orange II' is the open-pollinated replacement for hybrid 'Sungold' we've all been waiting for! The fruits are sweet, but not cloyingly so, fruity, and perfectly orange. The plants are productive and relatively pest resistant. There's really not much else worth saying: just give them a try. These tomatoes sell themselves.
Indeterminate plants begin producing in 75 days under optimal conditions.
Our seed comes from our friends Cody Egan and Dylan Bruce of Driftless Seed Supply in Wisconsin.
GROWING TIPS: Grow as you would any other tomato. Provide a good trellis, cage, or other support.
