Live Tubers & Root Cuttings

This category is differentiated from all the other plant categories because this collection consists -- NOT OF SEED -- but rather, of living tubers and root cuttings, essentially what we could call "live plants." Which also means they are genetic clones of the parent plant. This year we exclusively sourced the plant material in this collection from Michael Billington, of Montana, who is doing some wonderful breeding work on perennial edible crops.

To emphasize again, every other plant category on our website is for what we call "true seed." This category has "live plants." Which will arrive in a ziploc bag with damp peat moss. THEY SHOULD ALL IMMEDIATELY GO IN THE FRIDGE.
