Another gem from South Carolina pepper breeder Kevin Bane. Here's what he has to say about it: "The most productive variety of pepper I have ever created. A Moruga Red Monster x 7 Pot Wrecking Ball cross was thencrossed to a Scotch Bonnet. This is pretty much the optimal outcome of such a cross. Much milder than a superhot but quite spicy in the middle. These have a lot of the characteristics of a scotch bonnet, yet with production so high one branch can produce as much as one whole plant of other varieties. The pods are also massive and easy to pick. These would be great for any Jamaican style cooking, chili powder, or sauce applications."
IMPORTANT NOTE: Kevin is an experimental pepper grower and typically grows most his peppers in the same field with little isolation distance. This allows the possibility for a small percentage of his seed (2-3%) of any given "cultivar" or "breeding population" to be crossed up. We are comfortable with this possibility. Mostly the cultivars are very stable. And also, given EFN's propensity for selling experimental grex and genetically diverse populations, we don't expect this deter most our customers.
