We're excited to be offering this beautiful (and useful!) snapdragon from Wild Garden Seed. Here's what they say about it: "A dramatic garden planting or cut flower, these snaps demonstrate how red can be intensified into the infrared, like around the lips of this dragon, contrasting with its beautiful pure white throat."

While many herbalists know of its medicinal uses, most people remain unaware, but the medical establishment is now doing more to study snapdragon as a medicinal plant. According to its Wikipedia entry: "It is a topical emollient, antiphlogistic, astringent, antiscorbutic, hepatic and diuretic. It is effective against inflammations, used for haemorrhoids. It has been used in gargles against ulcerations of the oral cavity. Internally, it can be used for colitis and heartburn. Externally, as poultices, on erythemas."
