***IMPORTANT NOTE: When saving corn seed we recommend growing at least 100 plants for genetic diversity. Basically, if you are intent on saving seed of this variety, buy two or three packets. If you are not saving seed, one packet is fine.

From breeder Frank Kutka of the College of Menominee Nation, "Dobranoc' (doe-BRAH-notes) is an early corn variety with all the colors of dusk and midnight. The parentage includes early purple selections of varieties from North and South America, as well as corn belt and Mexican lines. This Cycle 1 (C1) selection is darker than the original population. The texture varies, but dark colors in the seeds and on most plants are the norm. Enjoy!
