The much-loved perennial wildflower from eastern and central North America. Yellow orange petals with a dark brown to black "eye." Classic, beautiful, and adored by pollinators.

2' H x 1'W. Medium soil. Full to Part Sun. Yellow bloom June to Oct. Excellent for mass plantings, reseeds. Cold stratify 30 days, or Fall seed outside. 

Our seed comes from our friend Bonnie in Winona, Minnesota, who is a talented forager and wildcrafter, and very familiar with the flora of the Driftless region. This seed was harvested wild in the Winona area.
