The name means "Black Bird" in Italian, and it we think it perfectly suits the dark-green leaves of this cool-loving savoyed spinach. Its tender and nutrient-rich leaves are absolutely delicious. This is bound to become a highly sought-after spinach.
Our seed comes from the plant wizards at Wild Garden Seed in Philomath, Oregon.
GROWING NOTES: Requires cooler weather, so plant in early spring or fall. Temperaturs of 85 or higher will cause bolting. It's a great winter coldframe variety. Succession sow for best yields as long as possible.
