Robert's Royalty is a delightful purple snap bean from legendary Minnesota bean-breeder Robert Lobitz. While most of his beans are known for the beautifully striking colors and patterns on the seeds, this one was bred for its purple pods. This is a productive and delicious bean growing on bush-type plants. We got our stock seed from Adaptive Seeds. EFN co-founder Dusty Hinz grew these out for EFN in Minnesota.
GROWING TIPS: Direct seed 1 inch deep in rows 12-24 inches apart. Plants could end up 3-6 inches apart in the row.
