'Takmachik Landrace' barley is a hull-less barley grown by organic farmers in Ladakh (India) for generations. Diverse population used in bread, for malting, or roasting and grinding into "tsampa," a traditional Himalayan cereal food.
These seeds were introduced to the US (and this lot grown by) our wonderful friend Chris Hardy of Hardy Seeds in the region of Ashland, Oregon.
