As far as we can tell, this beautiful variety was bred in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, by Ralph Cramer of Cramer's Posie Patch. It's a double-white-petaled love-in-a-mist grown for it's plum-colored balloon-like seedpods. These are beautiful accents in the garden, but a similar color holds for dried flower arrangements, making this plant a florist's dream. Like other love-in-a-mists, the seeds can also be used medicinally or as a flavoring (makes some really interesting cheese!).
Our seed comes from Wild Garden Seeds in Philomath, Oregon.
