Bred in the early 2000s at Cornell University by folks like Molly Jahn and Jason Cavatorta, this might just be the cucumber you've long been waiting for. Derived from a cross between 'Boothby's Blonde' and 'Marketmore 76', 'Salt and Pepper' is a phenomenally disease-resistant cucumber with outstanding heirloom flavor. It stands up to Powdery Mildew and Angular Leaf Spot disease, and can produce over a long season. It makes an excellent pickle, but is also wonderful eaten fresh out of hand.
Our seed was grown in Spring Grove, Minnesota by EFN co-founder Dusty Hinz.
