'Dog Hollow Farm' is a porcelain, hardneck type garlic. Grown at Dog Hollow Farm in Western Wisconsin since the early 1990s this variety is similar to Chesnok Red, but with a shorter stature making it easier for cultivation. 10-15 cloves per bulb with tight wrappers that make it good for storage. This variety shines on the farm and we're excited to offer it to other growers.
This seed garlic was grown by our friends at Driftless Seed Supply outside of Viroqua, Wisconsin.
We recommend planting garlic between September and late November in most of the US.
