We're very excited to be offering this less-common yellow version of a beloved new favorite from Brazil, beautiful in form, color, and taste. They have thin but crisp walls. Only mildly hot (at 1500 SHU roughly a third of jalapeño's heat), 'Brazilian Starfish Yellow' peppers are fruity and sweet with a slightly citrusy flavor. We recommend stuffing, pickling, adding to hot sauce, or eating straight out of hand. These will work in any recipe that calls for 'Aji Dulce' or other seasoning-type peppers. Our seed comes from longtime EFN grower Kevin Bane, of Philadelphia, Tennessee, and is part of his effort to find milder hot peppers that still have great flavor.
