Beautiful purplish-green winter cabbage, intermediate in form between savoy and standard heading cabbage. Very cold hardy.
Our seed was grown by the talented seedspeople Kass McKinnon and Clint Freund, of Cultivating the Commons.
GROWING TIPS: Space plants 20-22 inches apart. Cabbage is a long season crop, so in places further in the north it's best to plant out in the spring, so by late summer or fall you have a full head. In more southerly places you can plant in summer for late fall or early winter harvest.
