Zerawchanica is a short-grained brown rice originally from Poland. Slightly aromatic, it cooks up creamy and delicious. It is also a short-season (100-110 day), upland type. It yields slightly less than 'Duborskian', at roughly 10 pounds per 100 square foot bed. Awnless heads mean it's easier to harvest and thresh. Early maturing, it also has a short stature (up to 38 inches) helping it to resist lodging (falling over). This is a great rice that's easy to grow and simply delicious.
