From our source for these seeds, Wild Garden Seeds' Frank Morton: "A perennial bearing 2-4” lavender-blue composite flowers on stiff 20” stems, good for borders and cut flowers, attractive to butterflies and other native pollinators. I believe this is the native species, though several varieties do exist in various shades of blue through lilac, white, and yellow."
