Originally released by a Dutch company as an F1 hybrid in 2001, Sora has become a popular open-pollinated radish with uniform round red roots with the classic "cherry belle" shape. Not prone to getting pithy or woody, and not overly spicy, this is a very tasty radish for everyday use. The leaves are great too! Sora seed is much in demand among organic and biodynamic farmers. Our seed was grown by our friends Clint Freund and Kass McKinnon of Cultivating the Commons in the upper Midwest.
