This new tomato population from our friends at Common Wealth Seed Growers (CWSG) is one of the most whimsical tomatoes you can grow. We're thrilled to be offering it.
Here's the description from Common Wealth: "Bred by CWSG growers Kristina Korobeynikova and Edmund Frost at Twin Oaks Seed Farm. Gorgeous pastel-colored cherry tomatoes that look and feel like small Easter eggs. They come in multiple shades of vibrant pink, orange, and yellow, with slightly fuzzy skin (like 'Garden Peach', one of its parents). Foliage is long lasting and disease resistant (like 'Matt’s Wild Cherry', the other parent) and harvests can extend from late July through mid-October. They have good flavor and are very productive. Sometimes the fruits develop a picking scar [or "catfacing] which impacts keeping quality, but we’re working to select against this trait. In the meantime, consider harvesting by clipping entire trusses of tomatoes, or sort after harvest. Seeds from the initial cross were sent to us by vegetable breeder and Eastern Connecticut State University professor Bryan Connelly."
You're not going to find any other tomato quite like this one. Give it a try!
