Life cycle: Herbaceous Perennial

A smaller wildflower, more common in the Southeastern US, and in coastal plain regions, preferring well-drained and somewhat acidic soils. Generally a riparian plant that needs wet meadow conditions at a minimum, with a very unique “pitcher” type light fuchsia flower.
