A wetland variation of Rattlesnake Master. Showy and spikey, thistle-like flower balls. Yucca-like foliage. With a large taproots, making the plant drought-tolerant once established. A unique choice for a perennial cut flower, this aquatic variation has blue/purple tinged flowers that can be quite ethereal. Valuable to bees, butterflies, and songbirds. Of similar medicinal uses as Eryngium yuccifolium.
2-4'H. Full to Part Sun. Wet soils. Blooms silver/purple July-Oct.
