An underrated and fairly unknown goldenrod with amazing taste! The leaves of this delicate goldenrod have a licorice flavor similar to a milder version of Anise Hyssop. It grows in partial shade reliably and is much less vigorous than your typical native Solidago species, making this a nice addition to the herb garden. Though its native range is from the Appalachians east, it deserves a fair trial wherever you are. Know also as Sweet Goldenrod and Blue Mountain Tea, this plant has astringent and antiseptic medicinal properties. Don't’ miss it!

3'hx1'w. Medium to Dry Soil. Full-Part Sun. Yellow bloom Aug, Sept.

These seeds were produced by our friends at Ernst Conservation Seeds in Meadville, PA.
