20 PACK of 1 inch diameter Hazelwood Stakes (6-7 feet in length or more)
Expert hazelnut researchers recommend that bushes be coppiced every 10 years. Coppice is when a bush is cut to the ground so it can grow back fresh from the roots. Hazelnut produces beautiful, long, straight, skinny, hard stems that are great for building garden trellises with. Hazel stems can also be used to build wattle-style fencing.
These stakes are about 6-7 feet minimum in length, or more (there is some variance in each bundle).
These stakes are about an inch in diameter, and are relatively strong and can hold a good amount of weight.
All of our stakes are untreated.
