A common field legume and prairie plant with wispy attractive foliage, and large white blooms. A forage, and edible plant for humans, though it contains some toxic compounds. Hosting many different butterflies and pollinators, and providing food for larger mammals as well, Milk Vetch is a high value plant for wildlife.
