'Brad F2' are the second generation offspring of a cross between 'Brad' and an unknown pollen donor. The second generation is the most diverse and interesting generation of a breeding project. Interesting sizes and colors of fruit might show up, as well as different kinds of foliage and growth habits. At least 3/4 of the plants are likely to be red-fruited. 1/4 of the plants are likely to be potato-leaved. They are likely to be super early, thanks to the known 'Brad' parentage.
This variety places emphasis on the Experimental part of Experimental Farm Network. Select what you like from the diversity. And if you get something awesome and grow it for a few years, get in touch with us: we'll probably want to start selling it! This population is another gem from Joseph Lofthouse of Paradise, Utah.
