Beautiful native milkweed. The whole plant is edible after cooking. A sweet syrup can be made from boiling down the flower clusters. Nate likes to cook the flowers in scrambled eggs. This milkweed is a good host plant for monarchs and other butterflies. Thrives in moist environments. Full to partial sun.
